Upon reaching the age
of 60, I find that things I never bothered
about in my youth are now a daily
concern. I'm not sure whether this
means I have grown wiser with age, or
perhaps less tolerant of people who
pursue their own agendas with no regard to
how this affects our country.
This is particularly
true in the mass media and in politics
where personal interests come before our
national interest. Self-serving
reporters and news readers pontificate
without knowing the facts, or, even worse,
fully aware of the facts and deliberately
slanting them to support their views.
Artists, musicians, and
movie stars address national policies
without the slightest idea of what they're
talking about and think they can affect
public policies simply because they are
famous. Unfortunately too many fans
are quite ignorant or they wouldn't be as
avid in their hero worship. It's one
thing to praise someone's performance -
quite another to fawn slavishly over
media-created deities who depend solely on
unknown writers to express their thoughts. |

disrupted terrorist plot to blow up
airlines from UK to the US should be a
wake up call for all those who think
negotiating with terrorists is the answer.
Iran and
Venezuela sell us oil - and use the
profits to fund terrorism against us -
we're paying them to kill us and paying to
stop them from doing so - how's that for
irony!

Ukrainians are Democrats today simply
because their parents were. Yes,
Democrats helped Ukrainian immigrants
after WWII - but that was the old
Democrat party! We are getting ever closer
to fighting terrorists on American
streets. Ukrainian Democrats - and
I am one - need to take an honest look
at the actions of politicians, not
their self-serving rhetoric. Too many
voters just pull the party lever without

have had Osama bin Laden-but did nothing;
he gave North Korea billions to stop their
nuclear program which they didn't; he sold
our missile technology to China; he
pardoned known terrorists so his wife
could get the Hispanic vote in New
York........that and more is all in the
record. Democrats will not admit that they
led us into our present dangerous world!

little accomplishments to show for all
their years in office - so they just whine
about Republicans and against "the
rich" although they're all
millionaires!
Kerry made
his money the easy way - he married an
heiress, divorced her, and then married a
richer widow.
What has
she actually done as Senator?
Hillary's
poor senate record speaks for itself.

Bush - like Reagan, has the backbone to
actually do what he says. Forget about any
Democrat acknowledging Republican
accomplishments. If Bush walked on water -
the party line would be "Bush Can't

DON'T
LIKE HIGH gas prices? Blame the
Democrats! For 30 years, they have
blocked every attempt to find oil in the
U.S. or build new refineries.
"Big Oil" does NOT set the
price of oil and has to buy it at the
producer's price. The higher cost
results in higher profits for oil
companies-but also higher taxes paid to
the government!
